Parts Of The Bugatti Veyron Engine

On March 17 of the ANA

As happened with the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War and the 90th of the association, for Thursday, March 17 , when we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italy, the National Alpine Association has decided to involve all of its 4300 units in a simple ceremony that will honor the Tricolore, dell'alzabandiera hero and symbol of the country.

As highlighted by the president Corrado Perona: "It will be a simple gesture, but powerful, who will talk about sincere love of the Alpine to Italy. "

ceremonial of March 17

  • 9am: We meet at the headquarters of the Section / Group with banner / pennant charge;
  • 9.15 Hours: flag-raising ceremony: will read out the message of the national president (possibly no speech, nor any intervening authority);
  • break ranks.

Perona The President also called - would be superfluous, but these days it is rather a duty - all mountaineers to expose the Tricolour at the window of the house, "because would be even more clear that where there is a mountain there is certainly Italy.

PERIODACCIO THAT GUYS!

Heart, typhoid can hurt
"Some games really a risk

A U.S. study has sought to give weight to the scientific nature of shocks that can cause heart particular defeat. The researchers calculated that when the Rams lost the Super Bowl 1980, in Los Angeles, deaths from heart attack increased from 15 to 27%

ROME - It is no coincidence they call heart-pounding matches. Are those from the dramatic ending, as Liverpool or Milan-Lazio-Inter in 2005. It's no coincidence it's called the "heart team" because it is what it touches you the most and at critical moments, it increases the palpitations. Now a U.S. study published in Clinical Cardiology 1 partitissima argues that stress combined with the pain of defeat is a real risk factor, such as smoking and diabetes, the health of our heart. Figures, the research argues that when a team runs into a defeat "special" among its Supporters significantly increase mortality rates for cardiovascular events. And the risk applies to women too, especially if over 65 years.

To give a measure of scientific impact of defeat on the heart of the fans, students of the University of Southern California have examined the cases of cardiac death in Los Angeles County recorded in the two weeks that followed two Super Bowl history, the finals every year he puts in front of the two teams are stronger at the end of the regular season of football. The first screening was done on 1980, when contending for the prestigious ring samples were the Los Angeles Rams, the team's favorite city, and Pittsburgh Steelers. It was played at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, and the hosts were defeated. The second study examined the post-Super Bowl of 1984 when, at a neutral location in Tampa (Florida), the Los Angeles Raiders defeated the Washington Redskins.

Robert A. Kloner, the Heart Institute of Good Samaritan Hospital, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California (Los Angeles), and his colleagues analyzed, in those two periods, deaths caused by heart failure, for both men and for women, with an eye turned to the population over 65. The result was as follows: the average calculated in months January and February of the next three years, 14 days after the defeat of 1980, the dead "heart" were increased for both sexes and more among the elderly than among young people. In detail, the defeat of the Rams in Los Angeles had resulted in an increase of 15% of all deaths from cardiovascular causes among males and as much as 27% among women, while among those over 65 the increase was of 22 %.

In contrast, in two weeks that followed the victory of the Raiders in 1984 the rate of deaths had declined compared to the average of January and February of the following three years.

"Science has mapped virtually all the risk factors related to chronic heart disease - says Kloner - such as smoking, obesity, diabetes. But this study finds a new show: there are also risk factors, such as the Superbowl in fact, can trigger an acute heart failure. "Doctors and patients, says the researchers should be aware that stress causes a response from game emotional, which can also trigger a sudden heart attack. For this reason, in some cases, you may need to be on stress reduction programs, ad hoc or prescribe medication.

To give the idea to the team led by Kloner was a study published in 2008 in the New England Journal of Medicine, which found very high rates of cardiac emergencies in Germany during the Cup World Cup. "The fans - says researcher - develop an emotional attachment towards the team, which is comparable to that evidence against a family member. Think about how you feel when a parent is too stressed out because he sees his son in trouble ". In short, an avid sports should not underestimate the risks they might run: the fan has a heart that beats for a single individual, but for an entire team. An effort that, as revealed by the study, it is sometimes too heavy to bear.
